Bad Boys for Life Returns Will Smith and Martin Lawrence to the Big Screen
Sequel to 2003's Bad Boys II Hits Theaters in June
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah Direct New Installment
The long-awaited sequel to Bad Boys II, Bad Boys for Life, is set to hit theaters on June 17th, 2020. Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the film stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
The film finds Lowrey and Burnett on the trail of a new threat to Miami, a drug cartel led by Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio). As the two detectives investigate, they find themselves facing off against both the cartel and a corrupt law enforcement officer (Vanessa Hudgens).
Bad Boys for Life is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith, and written by Peter Craig, Joe Carnahan, and Chris Bremner. The film also stars Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, and Paola Núñez.
Bad Boys for Life is the third installment in the Bad Boys franchise, which began with the 1995 film Bad Boys. The sequel, Bad Boys II, was released in 2003.
